Stray Dog - Cream Soda - Resin

This Stray Dog fits right in with my other Finch knives. The Cream Soda Resin handle is fantastic!!

Finch does it again! This is the fifth Finch Knife in my collection and once again I am completely satisfied with this one. This is a larger model compared to others I have, the ergonomics are on point, the blade shape is interesting and practical and as always the style in material choice is dynamic. Lots of words just to say, “Thanks Finch for making yet another cool knife!”

So after taking a back seat watching the brand for close to a year I made my first purchase little more than a week ago and now as of this morning I have added 5 FINCH KNIVES to my modest collection with the Cream Soda being my second Stay Dog and I am simply left with AWESOME BRAND… FINCH please look the other way here because the Stray Dog is too much knife for too little money. The Stray Dog should be twice the price with this level of craftsmanship. I appreciate the value so much so that I will be buying duplicates. Thank you again FINCH…

Looks great but a bit on the heavy side.

First off, when I first saw this knife on the Finch Site, I thought it was one of the most beautiful knives I had ever seen, and for the price, I just had to have it. Now, upon opening the box, the first thing you notice is the exquisite blade. It's absolutely gorgeous and sharp right out of the box. Next, I look over the handle. And it also appears to be perfect. Now don't get me wrong here, the handle is still beautiful. But upon further inspection, I realize the inside of the handle isn't smooth. Meaning, I find small clumps of rubber glue protruding from under the scales on both sides. Of course I fixed the issue as best as possible. But, also not the point. Lastly, when extending the blade, it takes quite a bit of force to open. I've purchased other Finch Knives before and they've always been a smooth flick to open. Never had to use much pressure to the point my finger hurts to open it. Maybe it needs to be broken in. I'm still a Finch guy, but I'll be a lil more picky next time.
