Sharp Knife

Wanted this knife as Finch is my mothers maiden name and all my cousins are known as the Finches. I wanted that brand in my pocket. Imagine my delight when I found out what a gem the actual product turned out to be. I'm going to send one to my sister right now who has taken Finch for her middle name,

My 2nd Cimarron

I've been a Spyderco and Falkniven fan for a long time, but as soon as I picked up a Finch, (introduced to me by a small, indy EDC shop owner in town) I was sold. I have never felt a finer folding mechanism ever on any knife. And that gorgeous forest green Cimarron got razor sharp, although edge retention on 8cr... isn't super great, it's still fine and very affordable.

A lot of thought both in function and aesthetics go into Finch, this company I hadn't even heard of six months ago. They are now my favorite folder.

For his 14th birthday, I got.my nephew the Nightcrawler 1929, his first pocket knife. Just a gem of art and engineering. Every time I go over there he's flicking his Finch all over the place.

Oh yeah, like day 8 on a 10 day camp I'm looking around for my first Cimarron which should always be in my pocket. It's like 2am, fire roaring, and I find my first ever Finch at last in the glowing bed of coals. She's ugly now for sure, doesn't always lock on the first flip,, handle scales are a little loose because all the stuffing and G10 peeled away, but "Fire Blade" still worked. Still works. Still folds. Kept it as a folder for the rest of the trip and used it constantly.

These are excellent knives. Looking forward to the abalone shell in '22.

True blue

The Cimarron is a top quality knife. With the electric blue handle it stands out among all of my knives.
